A letter to my grandmother in Heaven this Christmas

Dear Mammy,
         I miss you everyday and sometimes it feels like you just left us instead of 9 months ago. I know you are in a better place. Actually, I don't know, I assume and want to believe you are but noone on earth knows about Heaven. Which, I know you are in Heaven.

        This Christmas Eve I have really emotional and worried about you. I worry and wonder if you are lonely, are you cold, are you hungry, are you happy. I keep wanting and wishing for sign that you aren't any of these things. I wonder if you and my grandfather are together.

        Is this weird? Is this odd? Am I the only one that thinks these crazy thoughts, are they crazy thoughts?

        I know you still worry and watch over my mom, I worry about her too. I got her a Coach purse for Christmas. I just wanted to make her happy and she's kinda had a sucky year.

        Why can't you be with us still? Yes, I am still angry that God took you away. But, I'm not as angry as I was.

         In closing, I wish you all the happiness you so deserve. I love and miss you so very much.

Your "little girl", Megan is now 18. Can you believe it??? I can't believe I have an 18 year old daughter (man I'm getting old)

Random Sunday Post


I worked at an auto manufacturing plant for 6 long hard sweaty years, the money was GREAT but boy did it ever take a toll on my body. At the end of my journey I just couldn't do it anymore, my body said 'Enough' I had injured my back, shoulder (surgery), elbow, finger, and broken finger. 
Stick a fork in me I was done. I just up and quit... No smart thinking on my part. I did have a 8 year old to think about but I was thinking about my poor aching body. Hindsight, I would have stayed and took a leave. My body and mind needed a break. 

With all that said haha I went back to school majored in Medical Information Technology. Can't find a job to save my life (in my field) I do have a job, just not using my major. It really sucks! I'm 43 and still looking everyday for a job in my field, I guess hospitals or Dr's offices don't like me. Insert sad face. But seriously, I think I'm kinda sorta likable. I'm funny, sarcastic (but funny), sweet as sugar southern gal and just cute as a button (that parts a joke) See, I'm funny!

Not sure the goal of this post is but inquiring minds might have wanted to know all of the above chit chat. Maybe? Probably not haha See, humor AGAIN   I'm stopping

Mary Kay Clear Proof Acne System

I had originally signed up for this to let me daughter use it but adult acne hit home about the time it came in the mail. Hormones? Stress? Who knows, so thank goodness I had this to use!!!

My skin is brighter and more smooth than it has been in years. My favorite product is the toner. I'm usually not a fan of skincare scents but I love these!

Loved all of the Murad products I used.

Have already repurchased the Olay body wash and will again and again. Same as the Tree Hut scrub. I didn't repurchase the exact same shampoo. I had some really good coupons for Pantene (paid 0) so we are using Pantene now. Love love love the No. 7 cleansing water, it's not a necessary step in skincare but I love how it makes my skin feel and it smells divine. I'm almost finished with my second bottle and they last forever. 2 in 1 year is pretty good in my eyes. Now, I didn't use this everyday so I'm not sure how long it would have lasted had I used it everyday. But it still lasts awile

I had tried the Tazo Chai Latte in the past and was eager to try a new flavor and also get a box of my favorite.
